You Cry Beneath Me

You Cry Beneath Me

A Poem by 5minutesofcrazy
"

This is the most poetic way to describe a fight in my life, currently.

"

You cried beneath me

I rocked with fervor

You wrapped yourself around me

I saw that look in your eye

I sit up, my feet hit the floor

You lie there motionless

I try to wish away last night

You gently stir to look at me

Your eyes are begging

I look away in shame

You reach out to touch me

I stay frozen on the bed

I reach for my pants

You come up from behind

I pretend like I’m alone

You squeeze me and kiss my neck

You whisper softly

I try to break your grasp

You say romantic words to me

I linger on your words

I put on my shoes

You kiss down my back

I hurry my process

You run your soft hair over my skin

You let go of my torso

I stand to finish dressing

You lay down rolling away from me

I fish for my wallet

I set cash on your stand

You treat me as if I weren’t there

I start to speak

You don’t care

You tell me to leave

I throw out a quip

You ignore me again

I need you to care

I vow to never call

You mark your book for my day

I delete you from my call history

You know you’re still a contact

You are the w***e

You are the one getting paid

You are the one being left

You are the thing used by others

You are the w***e

I called the w***e

I am the one who paid

I am the one slinking away

I am the one using another human being

I sexed the w***e

From just a viewpoint of no emotion, the words are like flattened words, no give and take, no tug and pull. But the emotions that fly out and mask each letter, each space with the urgency and frustration, angst and trial, it is more than obvious that the words are not flat. They are broad and yet cramped. A noose to a cemented chair. It's want and it's loss. The splash of denial or maybe misconception morphed into the reality portrayed is very raw. Write the page again, this review will be twice as long. Amazing ink, deep turmoil.

Powerful stuff. Felt compelled to read it twice. Everyone uses everyone else at some time, why should sex be any different? Food for thought.

it's sad how men mistake reality for fantasy in the sex industry. the "w****s" just want your money and the men give it. just walk out the door already and stop being a drama queen. shows what suckers men can be. excellent poem.
