Crawl Back to the DarknessA Poem by 5minutesofcrazyA poem of hope, and overcoming personal demonsI hear you in the air Your voice haunts my dreams Your breath creeps on my neck Yet you are never here I see your figure in the darkness Your fingers clutching the walls Our skin brushes together for just a second Yet you aren’t to be found I feel you even as I sit here, alone Your presence as the force I can’t escape Those delicate fingers becoming intertwined with mine Still no trace of you remains Shall you force me to smell your aura now? Your scent will waft upwardly I suppose My senses to be dulled my your fragrance Yet, leaving me surprised when you are not here Leave me alone I beg of you, yet again Crawl back to the darkness, you beast Or come and be close to me I feel your aura now I hear you in the darkness I see you even as I sit here I smell you in the air Yet you don’t come You will never return here No trace will ever be found You won’t cause this air to stir I beg for new memories I seek new demons I desire new pains I can’t bare the old Leave I beg Crawl back Or I know my foolishness As it is on my lips For I now remember your ways Stay gone © 2012 5minutesofcrazyReviews
