And yet the blood flowsA Poem by 5minutesofcrazyThe mechanical nature of humanity, and the human nature of machines.
Listen to me, children
When viewing the unrepeatable Watching the entering of a being The host crying for pain and pleasure Yet the blood flows Know my words are true The days of recognition will come Standing in line to receive social praise The presenter marking the past and the future Yet the blood flows Witness the saying While viewing the most public of displays Observe the contract based on emotion The officiant uniting the immiscible Yet the blood flows Hear these ideals The time will be to force validation Presenting your comrades to be inferior The executive distinguishing competency Yet the blood flows Remember my oration Once involved with the abrupt ending Viewing the light exit their eyes The executioner severing physical from spiritual Yet the blood flows Yet the blood flows On to the stagnant wheel Causing the movement and even rotation Speed relative to the rate of discharge The emerging power seized by forced Yet the blood flows On to the slick levers Greasing the ever quickening gear Productivity racing past safety The bid for control mounting through desire Yet the blood flows On to the belt, into the track Upping the quote of the specialized stations Shapes formed on down the line The quest for domination exhibited aggressively Yet the blood flows Beneath the responsive the key set Intensifying the now real dependency Dependent on the digitized stream The need to conquer aged by fury Yet the blood flows Down the barrel to the chamber Precipitating the ability to establish the fact Red rivers spilled to control thought The prevalent coercion seen by muzzle flashes
