A ReturnA Poem by 5minutesofcrazysomething to tickle the hair on your neck as I go past
I dare you to say my name again
The dare was the only thing I had left I had never learned how to fight with you That was always my undoing I promise to be different this time Different than what, I didn't know I said the only thing I knew you'd hear Though I didn't let myself comprehend I challenge the nature of us Challenges are a waste of time and effort I rambled to prevent your rebuttal That simply confused me more I call to mind the day we first met Calling with it the hurt and pain that followed I tried distracting you from facts The distraction seemed to only fuel your fire You ask me Turning away from your face You reach out Removing myself from your presence I left to never return again Leaving was all I was good at I wrote a note explaining to you why A note I can never send you
