Working twice as hard only to go half as farA Poem by Faust
Dad, you think you know me, but you don't.
You say you'll care for me, but you won't. You think I'm stupid, you think I'm dumb. You think I'm nothing more than scum. But believe me when I say, That I have tried my hardest everyday. You don't know the struggle, you'll never do. And to think all my life, I've looked up to you. You were my hero, you saved me every day, Until that one night when your spirit went away. You were never there through the days or nights. And oh boy, we got in so many fights. Some of them were my fault, some of them yours. I can tell when you're home by the way you slam the doors.
