Something you can do to help

Even though the odds are against you, you can still do something to help the people you care for most in this world.

Some people say there is nothing you can do.

I always say you're right, that maybe true.

But how do you know if you don't even try.

Are you going to just sit there and watch the world pass you by?

Or are you going to do everything you can.

And be known as the person with a plan.

You can help those in need.

You just need to take the lead.

A person with a plan you can be.

A person who will help those as far as the eye can see.

This poem is dedicated to someone who is going through alot. I want to be there to help him, but we live in different states from each other.
