Dear Darkness

Dear Darkness

A Poem by Faust
"

The darkness is not always to be feared

"
Dear Darkness,
I find you in my sleep, as I close my sleepy eyes,
I am covered in your warmth, and it feels like you tell no lies,
You are up at night but you sleep in the day,
As you are enlightened by the shining stars, you always want to play,
You are what scares me in the midsts of the night,
But you are not the only thing that fills me with fright,
I'm your sleeper,
Your only friend,
It is time for bed,
Until the end

I like the night. Always work the night shift. Some people minds can come alive in the night. I liked your thoughts on the night. Could be scary but the darkness allowed the mind to wander. Thank you Emily for sharing the excellent poetry.

Very cool Emily.
I never thought of writing to darkness myself, but I wish I had now.
I'm glad to see you have more writing today than yesterday.
Keep churning out these lines.
You'll find the right words in due time.
