when everything else fails

she looked at the world

then she closed her eyes

is she dreaming?

she hoped she's right

she opened them

then it became bright

how do you explain

when words fail

or when her smile

suddenly appeared again

how can you tell

just by seeing the eye

what the heart can't say

what you tried to deny

when things changed

that she laughed

at first untrue

moving on was slow

all is without you

it this just in her head?

thought the world's dead

this restless slumber

of chasing dreams

it has all ended

when forever stood

in front of her

like the blue sky

and sunshine's hood

she took a leap of faith

 and then she grew

she looked at the world

her world changed

the dream was finally gone

so goes her rage

life is unfair

everyone told her

but welcoming life

hope is a feeling

a tiny spring glimpse

it was everything

in the long winter

the day has come

finally here

finally to stay

finally something to stay
