Hearts Just Know

 

Maybe we’re too young together

But I don’t see it in that way

There are things that don’t last forever

I can’t expect you to stay

 

Maybe because we’re different

We always fight about everything

But I liked what it always meant

That we can’t get over anything

 

Or maybe because of pride

That we’ve gone so wrong

When opposite worlds collide

Can it possibly last long?

 

And I know we both remember

How it all happened that night

That we really loved each other

Even if it wasn’t at first sight

 

Or maybe when it comes to this

There is no such reason to show

With you is what I so much miss

It’s crazy, yeah, but hearts just know

Chessy is Ok. Sometime takes two different people to create fire and emotion. Two of the same kind of people would drive each other nuts. I like the story and the ending. A very good poem.
