Check Before You DonateA Story by Loretta EdwardsCheck Before You Donate This is not the America that I grew up in. When I was a kid I was just that. We were out playing active games from morning to dark. We weren’t worried that our parents were getting a divorce; that the stranger walking down the street was a danger; or if our clothes had a designer label. We wore hand-me-downs without shame. Well, times have changed. Some of the changes are good. Not all marriages are made in heaven and should be dissolved. We are more open to problems. No problem can be solved if it is not acknowledged. I thought it was because people were becoming more tolerant, understanding, forgiving and just needed a little more time to sort things out. I don’t want to get political, but two things have explained why so many things have changed so quickly in a short half century. On the internet under Paul Harvey, remember his radio show? “And now for the rest of the story”? Well, he gives a very insightful message. He saw what was coming. Listen to Paul Harvey 1965 warning. It will give you something to think about. Then I read Mind Siege by Tim Lahaye. This is not a religious book. Religious or not, I think that you will find that the things that are bothering you, that you thought were just happening, are the concerted efforts of a group of people. You have probably never heard of Secular Humanism. If you have you have not paid any attention to the name. That is what makes them so dangerous. By quietly going about their business they have infiltrated our churches, schools, colleges, and government. They have preached their filth to our children without our knowledge. Our country is being destroyed by an ideology we didn’t know existed. They are funded, dedicated and more fanatic then any Christian. You may agree with them. If not you need to be aware. I have given their beliefs on the next page. Everything religious is being challenged. The schools no longer have a Christmas holiday. It is winter break. Easter is spring break. Your younger kids are taught that Darwin’s theory is scientific fact, when there is a missing link and has never been proven one way or the other. You send your loving children to college, at great expense. Only to have them come home mocking your old fashioned marriage. They will live with whom they like for as long as they like. They think that they are modern and tolerant. When someone is invited on campus to express an opposite opinion, the riots prove them intolerant. Secular Humanism is the basis of high-sounding organizations. The name sounds like something that you believe in and want to support. The name is chosen to gain your confidence. Their real agenda is to spread their godless message to unsuspecting people. A lie repeated often enough becomes the normal belief. Hitler knew this and the Jewish people suffered. Then the world suffered. When we are unaware of our enemy, the enemy wins by default. The government finances the very college that teaches the nonsense that there is no right or wrong. I won’t try to advise you on how to spend your money. But you may want to investigate the ones that want your money before you give them your support in any way.
