Truth Heals

          I was surfing the web with nothing in mind recently. I came across a site where several preachers gave comments on different subjects. This one stood out as something to think about. How do you feel about his belief?

          “I think Jesus thought of himself very much as a healer. He saw healing as a key to his work and presumably this arose because he had just found out he was able to do it. A lot of Jews at this period would have prayed for people for healing and Jesus must have done this and found that actually he was rather good at it.” 

          Yes, I agree that Jesus was very good at it! However, I have a very different concept of how Jesus was able to heal and the method that he used. How do you feel about my belief?

          I believe that Jesus Knew that there was nothing that needed to be healed. He did not look at a sick or deformed body feeling sorry for the suffering and wanting to help with the same beliefs that we foolish humans do. He Knew, without a shadow of doubt, with absolute confidence, with a conviction born of knowledge and understanding that our Father-Mother-God created only Good. Either God created sickness and it is good and no one has the ability to change what God has ordained�"Or disease, sin, error and death was never created and does not exist in God’s Reality. Which is it?

          Mary, the mother of Jesus, was raised in a Jewish convent. She taught Him all of the strict ways in the faith of her religion. Mary was very sincere and dedicated in what she believed. (I have often wondered how Mary felt about the teaching of her son. Was she embarrassed, uncomfortable or ashamed? Was she worried about is soul because He turned from her faith? Or was Jesus able to convert his mother?)

          Jesus was a Jew. He was very much aware of the Jewish laws, the superstitions, the rituals, the misconceptions and errors in religion. He has met Satan and put that error behind Him. (Satan: being the doubt and uncertainty when He was wondering if He was the man for job of teaching a radical new way of thinking about God and what God wants from man. He had to decide if He was going to live in man’s world or God’s.) Wrong thinking leads to wrong actions. Jesus put All Human thoughts, false beliefs, and useless rituals behind Him completely and forever.

         

 

          Along with being a Jew He was also the spiritual messenger to the Jews. The Jew’s, at that time, were taught and believed that an eye for an eye was God’s law. Jesus’ mission was to overcome this error in men’s thinking. He came to teach God’s love. To convince men to turn the other cheek, to love your enemy, that the God they feared was a loving Father who will supply your every need if you will accept His gifts.

          I believe that when Jesus healed it wasn’t a beseeching prayer that healed. It wasn’t magic, it wasn’t just a trick, it wasn’t supernatural, it wasn’t only temporary, and I am convinced it was not an accidental discovery. Neither was it sporadic-one here-maybe one there. Nor was it God intervening on behalf of one person over another. The healing was for anyone and everything, instantly, completely and lasting, How? 

            I deeply believe that it was His unshakeable knowledge that God Is Good. He raised the thought of the suffering one to the Glory of God. It did not matter what the condition was it instantly disappeared. It has to because it was only an illusion and it no longer had a believer to see the false impression.

        JESUS HEALED WITH TRUTH!                          SO CAN YOU
