the code

the code

A Poem by Ernie Roman

Lines upon lines of endless useless repeated incoherent code
sources fuzzy, fuzzy like i cant tell what i am seeing or
looking at for that matter fuzziness yes it turns into blurs
blurs when minimized seems like a ball of fuzziness
cataracts yet you and i both know all it is, is lines upon lines
of code seen from your table and my table zoom in and zoom out from 15 per cent

meaningless maybe to our simplestic analog selves but means something
to someone somewhere somehow not here not near but there somewhere
now i see and comprehend the code it reads like a bible do this or else
the more its understood its misunderstood as its interpreted by you

the followers of the code cult strictly carry out its message
used to be authority figures resembled me and you and her and him

slowly as the 21st evolves they now resemble this code 1010101
repeated sometimes i see the picture eyes see a pattern only to be wrong
like we have so many times in the past never learned the lessons
to be learned so consequences will be carried out by the code creation
by us like nature the way she destroys herself to make herself pretty
again now we are the cancer to this code we saw it so now its time

for cleansing for our cancer installiation of the code to our most
secret and private shares and belongings making sure its all gone
when we gone the code the future foreseen mainly because not destiny
but a prediction made to believe its a prediction but its chosen for us
lines upon lines of endless useless repeated incoherent code
made to stay here now as i see that the code is looped indefinitely

evolution now with a constant no matter the conditions of new earth
these lines upon lines of looped code now seems crystal clear
crystal clear fears assured all of the ones we had thought when Orwell
was crazy still he couldnt write something as authoritian as the code
we need to blame someone maybe Gates and his goons but really not cos
its us and our need for more codes to defend us to make our PCs and Macs

more faster and efficent efficency and progress is ours one last time
building codes upon codes characters filling up space

for one simple command lethargic species becoming
imprisoned by the efficency of its home cant open the door cant breathe

the now clean air the code has come to clean house rid the garbage rid it

useless waste piles of us stacked outside for the curbside coded collection

to dispose coded rocket launchers for the infinite universe where codes
are detected are embraced no longer a mystery these radars from far away
cracked codes lead to a better tomorrow no need for struggle no need
to eat no need for war no need for money no need for department stores
no need for love no need for feelings no need for burials no need for stragedy

no need for governments no need for oil no need for religion no need for kings

and queens no need for domination beautiful no need for
America

looking down at the code now i wish now I was a number
in ITS system not the system but the code does not discriminate
it will eventually terminate all not some and like everything else i
learned here there is not a damn thing i can do about it.
