Chapter 32

Angel vs. Michael, Royalty vs. Commoner! Who will win?

Michael braced himself for the mad lunge that he knew Angel was about to make. However, Angel did not lunge at him, but instead grabbed a wooden chair from the table to her right and threw it at him. He quickly jumped to the right and the chair smashed through the window and plummeted to the ground. Angel dove at him and he sidestepped her wild stab easily.

"Be still, you little peasant,"Angel hissed angrily.

"Temper, temper,"Michael said playfully. Angel gave a roar of fury and grabbed him and slammed him to the ground.

"Now, stupid little boy,"Angel said angrily, raising the knife high above her head,"You will now learn what happens when you-"

WHAM!

Angel suddenly toppled off of Michael and he felt two hands pull him up.

"That felt pretty good,"Taira said, looking at Angel who was rubbing her sore head as she lay on the ground.

"What're you doing here?"Michael demanded furiously."I told you to go with the others!"

"Well,"Taira said, grabbing his hand and pulling him along,"I was worried about you, so they let me come back. It's pretty lucky I did or you would have died."

"I had it covered,"Michael said as he and Taira began running down a flight of stairs and down the hallway.

"Yeah right! You wre about to get killed!"Taira said as she led him down the hallway a couple of feet and turned right down anothr hallway. Taira stopped suddenly.

Angel had just emerged from one of the doors only a few feet ahead of them and was blocking their way.

"Ok, dear sister-"Angel began, but Taira interrupted.

"Quit calling me that like I'm some five-year-old!"

Angel glared at her.

"I do not think you are in any position to  make demands right before you die,"Angel said quietly.

"Ha!"Taira laughed,"You probably can't even kill a fly!"

"Maybe not a fly...but perhaps...a queen?"Angel asked quietly.

"What're you...?"Taira began, by realization hit in a second later and she pointed at Angel in disbelief.

"You...?"

"Yes, me!"Angel said, taking a bow as though she was getting a standing ovation at a talent contest."I killed dear mother and have been trying for almost a month now to kill Rene."

"Why would you be so open about that?"Michael asked.

"Because, I have no need to be ashamed!"Angel said."My desire is to be queen as soon as possible!"

"Why?"Taira demanded, glaring at Angel in pure hatred.

"It is nothing you little children need to know about!"Angel snapped."But you COULD tell me where Rene has gone."

"No way,"Taira said immediatly.

"Don't resist me, Taira,"Angel said quietly."If you do, you end up like poor, defenseless, mother!"

With that taunt, Taira ran at Angel angrily. Angel simply swung her hand quickly and hit Taira to the ground, where she stayed.

"Taira!"Michael yelled, stepping towards her. However, Angel suddenly grabbed him and held him close to her so he could not get away.

"Where is she?"Angle demanded.

"I don't know,"Michael said, grinning at her.

"Liar!"Angel screamed and she slammed MIchael hard against the wall. He gave a gasp of pain and looked at Angel.

"Where is she?"Angel demanded again.

"Still don't know,"Michael said with another grin. Angel furiously slammed him against the wall again.

"Tell me where she is you miserable little worm!"Angel yelled.

"I won't tell you now, and I won't tell you even if you threaten to kill me,"Michael said. Honestly, he had no idea where Rene had gone, but he knew he had to keep Angel busy long enough for her to escape properly.

Angel gave a roar of fury and began ferociously slamming him against the wall.

"TELL-ME-WHERE-SHE-IS!!"Angle shrieked madly.Michael gave a loud cough and blood spilled out. He started to laugh.

"Why are you laughing, you idiot?!"Angel yelled and she threw Michael away from her wildly. He hit the ground hard and rolled a few feet, then stopped.

"Because,"Michael said weakly as he stood up,"I really have no idea where Rene is."

Angel suddenly grabbed him and slammed him against a door on the right side of the hallway.

"Very well, then,"Angel said menacingly, raising her knife,"Since you have proven useless to me, you do not deserve to live!"

Suddenly, an arrow hit Angel's let hand-the hand she was holding Michael with-and she dropped him and just as she looked to the right, Amber came out of nowhere and kicked her to the ground. She got up quickly and saw Ralph holding Taira's limp body and Amber holding Michael's. Daniel stood beside Ralph, holding a bow.

"No! You aren't getting away!"Angel said angrily and she ran towards them wildly. Roran, however, stepped in the way and threw something over her. Whatever it was missed and whizzed over her head.

"You missed,"Angel said. However, she was proven wrong as a heavy netting fell on top of her.

"I've already alerted the police as to where you are,"Roran said."Also, try as you might, your little knife won't be able to cut through those ropes.

And with that, Roran turned on his heel and followed the others, leaving Angel to roar in fury by herself.

Awesome chapter! There was so much drama and action! A bit of comedy, too! It was so actiony! Yay! It was so cool! Wonderfully detailed and awesome action fights! I loved this chapter! :D
