Chapter 25

Rainy days suck. Especially when they happen during a vacation. So what will Daniel and Ralph find to do during the rainy day?

It was one of those days you always hoped never came while you were on vacation-a rainy day.

In a place like Dunelia Resort where all of the fun things to do during the day was outside, a rainy day was just depressing. Ralph and Daniel were proof of that.

Daniel was laying on the bed in his and Ralph's hotel room. He was channel-surfing through the seventeen channels on the hotel tv, desperately hoping ath, by magic, something good would come on. Ralph was sitting at a desk just slightly to the right of the dresser that held the tv, reading.

"There is nothing on!"Daniel exlcaimed.

"I thought you came to that conclusion an hour ago?"Ralph said, staring blankly at the page in front of him.

"I did but now all hope is lost of ever finding something fun to do,"Daniel said. Ralph chuckled.

"Why don't you read a book?"Ralph suggested.

"Reading gives me headaches,"Daniel admitted. Ralph closed his book and turned around to look at him.

"Well, maybe there's a way to fix that,"Ralph said.

"I doubt it,"Daniel said quietly.

"Well,"Ralph said, standing up and walking towards Daniel,"Why don't you let me sii if we can change that?"

He suddenly climbed up on top of the bed and sat on his knees formally.

"Sorry Ralph, but I don't think you can help me with anything,"Daniel said, looking at Ralph.

"Hmmm, how about your boredom?"Ralph asked, leaning towards Daniel a bit.

"Unless you have something that takes all day, then I don't think you can help,"Daniel said quietly, turning the tv off and looking at Ralph.

"Don't be so pessimistic,"Ralph said, moving closer to Daniel so that he was on his hands and knees. Daniel laughed and inched closer to Ralph.

"Well then,"Daniel said, looking into Ralph's eyes,"What do you suggest we do?"

"You tell me,"Ralph said as he and Daniel inched closer to each other.

"You're the one who brought it up,"Daniel said.

"You're the one who said you were bored,"Ralph said, putting one hand on Daniel's chest. Their faces were now only three inches apart.

"Well,"Daniel said as he laid back on the bed,"What did you have in mind?"

"A lot of things,"Ralph said as Daniel laid donw all the way. Ralph put his head over Daniel's and looked down at him.

"Well,"Daniel said mischeviously,"Why don't you tell me some of those things?"

"As you wish,"Ralph said as his and Daniel's faces moved to only an inch apart. Ralph looked down at Daniel for a moment.

"What're waiting for?"Daniel asked."Make a suggestion!"

"I'm contemplating which idea to suggest first,"Ralph said as his and Daniel's faces moved closer...

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Ralph jumped off the bed and went to answer it. Daniel sat up and watched Ralph answer the door.

Ralph opened the door and saw a mad standing there.

"Room service,"the lady said, and Ralph nodded and let the girl in. Ralph went and sat beside Daniel at the desk. Daniel had gotten out of the way quickly.

"So,"Ralph said,"Are you still bored?"

"Yes,"Daniel said quietly,"You never got to tell me your ideas."

"Don't worry,"Ralph said, patting the top of Daniel's head affectionately,"I may tell you those ideas...someday."

Daniel looked at Ralph and nodded and grinned and took his hand and put it on top of Ralph's head. He started patting Ralph's head.

"You two must be bored,"the maid said, smiling at the two of them.

"We are,"they said simultaneously.

Author's Note

Just for the record, Daniel is straight. Maybe bi-curious right now, but later on he's straight. So don't expect a Ralph-Daniel pairing. In this chapter, they really were just so bored that they needed something to do. But after the maid left, they got right back to what they were doing before-watching tv cuz a good show came on(finally!). But don't worry, I promised boy-boy love so there is boy-boy love...in part 3 lol Thanks for reading ^_^

Wow! Aw, I thought that there was going to be a Daniel-Ralph pairing... oh well! It's still a great book so far! I love it! Lol. They were so bored. :D
