Landing at the airport,absolute shock that the headphones he had bought yielded over four radio stations on the dial.Absolute shock at the lack of communication available in this seemingly large town.




Jared stepped off the plane to an intense heat that made him break into a sweat and his eyes water.Looking around,he spotted one lonely cab at the exit gate.After attaining his luggage,he stepped back into the heat to try to get to where he was going.




"Where to?"the question from the Mexican cab driver.
"To the nearest hotel" was the reply. While under way to the hotel, Jared noticed the driver seemed nervous;but thought it personal problems.But what happens next let him know this was no ordinary small town in the South.

You aren't finishing this one are you Michael? You don't seem interested in it... maybe if you thought about it a little more, you might want to finish but then again, you are like me and can't finish if you are in anyway bored with it... [Sigh]. This is . . . not what I was expecting. If you've already noticed, this story is more like a paragraph rather than a chapter. There is absolutely no details in this piece whatsoever. I'm very sorry to say this, but I don't feel I'll move on to Chapter Two.
