Sylvia Plath has always been a favorite poet of mine. I think you have captured her use of mystery, darkness, the macabre and tragedy in this piece. And what a tragedy we have here.. a young, obviously beautiful woman, yet a darkling, cannot see any sense of beauty in her reflection. Your use of language in this piece reveals what she does see instead.. your metaphoric language is brilliantly done. I am very pleased with this piece and enjoyed reading it very much. Thank you for the journey.

Actually, I used to be like the girl I talk about in the poem and well, right now I don't feel so bad about myself but scars of how I used to think before are still there.
Nevertheless, I am someone that cares much of self-esteem and I don't like it when truly beautiful girls, if only physically, see themselves as ugly.

It is wonderful that you've made it somewhat of a mission to help others with their self-esteem, even if it is through your poetry. If more cared, this epidemic would diminish.

I had to read this several times to figure out all the lines, which is great because that means there's deeper meaning that takes time to figure out, you sure created a splinter for the mind. The first two lines hooked me in. I love this poem, it felt as if I was reading a published piece. beggining to end, it was very well written, the imagery, the thought put into it, the ending...it's a really well put together piece.
Thank you.

I had to study Sylvia Plath poetry in College. I never like her desire to dance with death. Her life was sad and interesting. The poem felt like a secret. I like the feel of mystery and fear. You create many good visions with the poem.
"Her face is torn into bits and pieces of parchment,
With her watery signature to equilibrate her convex alignment
Her fingers scratch the facade of hypocrisy"
I enjoyed this poem. I wish I could write with skill. Mystery and fear. You can. Thank you for the excellent poem.

This is one of your best, I enjoy seeing your use of words and how you weave them together in this piece, there is a lot of thought and synergy. Its a strong poem with such beautiful imagery. I was quite captivated.
