All Apologies

All Apologies

A Poem by destroyedhappines

I apoligize if i'm not living up to what you want me to be,

I'm sorry if i dont meet you expectations.

But i want you to know, i am going to be what i wanna be,

And i dont give a damn if you disagree.

When you think of a perfect child, am i not what you see?

                        All apologies.

Am i not growing up to what you want me to be?

                        All apologies.

You love her more than me, i know you do,

I've always been athe second priority, number two

I feel as though, i'm in the shadow of the sun,

So i'll never be, your perfect little son.

                        All apologies
