Everything is Different

This is what hits me like a bullet I don't understand why bullying is treated so differently now then it was years ago.

I was bullied for a long time,

Nobody helped,

And all I did was cry,

Years of pain,

Feeling like there was nothing to gain,

The hate,

The debate,

I had on my life,

Should I take the knife,

Crave my skin,

And just give in,

B***h,

S**t,

W***e,

Thats what I was called,

But the time has changed,

Where bullying is taken seriously,

Where bullies get shamed ridiculously,

But I still have the fear growing inside,

I'm scared to go outside,

The bullies left a mark,

So why is everything different now,

But back then you just took the beating,

And the principles just had the meetings,

But now,

People are getting suspended,

People are standing up and lending,

A caring hand,

WHERE WAS MY CARING HAND,

Oh yeah thats right,

It was gripped tight,

Onto my hair,

I lived in a world where I believed nobody cared,

So why is it different now?

I thought about reading and reviewing this again Emily....Bullying is a shame to this world, its one of the main reasons for the growing rate of suicide....Couple of years back there were not too much help available for the victims of bullying but the time has changed, people have realized the problem and they are putting their hands up to help.....We all need to stand strong to end this evil on humanity.....One of the best one on this topic i have ever read Emily....Lovely and full of truth.....Full rating....
