Ex: Hey...

This is a poem from a very dark moment in my soul brought up by an ex making a drop by

I do not know what to say 

I do not know what to feel 

My heart is broken in places I thought was healed

You come out of the blue 

for your own convenience 

Despite the timeline you filled with grievance

My mind is conflicted

My soul is numb

Heart scarred by the pain you left with your tongue

Grudges held against you will stay 

For today my heart is no longer a game you play

Sounds like a bad penny returning. Actively fed grudges don't help the trouble, though. Sometimes they help it to reappear.
