I guess that's how its going to be

This was for a school poject , it goes off the Poem Alone by Edgar Allen Poe.

Though my heart beats,it beats out of rhythm

Though i cry , i cry alone

That joy that comes to others will never come to me

I stand and walk this life alone

Never will i know the reason why 

Even trough all the pain and times I've tried 

The dark which I'm so welcome to 

showing my wishes will never come true 

That darkness that wraps around me 

Saying sweet nothing all to consume me

Soon i know i will crumble and fall

Forgetting to try and care at all

I am different, that's how it's always going to be

There's darkness ,there's demons,and then there's me.

I am personally proud of this one, because i really love Edgar Allen Poe and to be able to write a poem bases off one of his was really exciting for me. So please comment and tell me your thoughts XD thank you for reading.

I think this one is really well done. I can see the comparison to Alone, but it's more inspiration than rephrasing. There are some lines that I find quite impressive, I especially like the first 4 lines. They're so relatable and well put. You have good reason to be proud of this piece. This is one of those poems that really stand out to me.
