CHAPTER 1
There is nothing as exciting as going to college. I couldn't sleep ,and no it wasn't because i was super excited about it. It wasn't my fear of meeting new people either, its because am a puppet and the puppet master is my father. I never was interested in film making or anything of that sort and yet here i was, hours before i would step in a film making class.
The full moon illuminated my room through partially opened window. How i wished the moon could light my heart and brighten my soul. Instead i lay on my bed dark thoughts flooding my head.
"What will i do to make him proud of me?"
" Maybe if i succeed him in his company he will finally respect me"
"Who am i kidding, he doesn't love me, maybe he never has"
"Am smart, hardworking and i never disobeyed him or my mother, not even once well, except that one time i threw a party while i was home alone and ended up damaging stuff worth 46,297.50 dollars. Yap, he counted it and he has been deducting it from my allowance . Only four months and am done paying it off."
"But you know what? I have a game plan.
1. Go to college and do the course father forced me to.
2. Emerge top.
3. Make father proud.
4. Get father's love and respect. What could go wrong?"

I have to ask... how much was this dudes allowance? Actually it's a good start to the age old Father-son relationship. I think it needs to be further along before I could comment much more than that. I am kind of interested in where this leads. Especially knowing your past work and the "what could go wrong"? Lead in to chapter 2
