not lazy

not lazy

A Poem by 3X3MPLER
"

am not lazy!

"
am not lazy
i run on energy saving mode
why hustle in the kitchen
when there is pizza and take out
am enviroment friendly
take a bath once in a while
use my jeans more than once
am saving alot of water
still havent done my asignment
hey teacher, relax
i got lots of time before graduation
dont think am lazy
i just like taking my time

first of all, I thought of the title as just a terse remark to someone's complaint about you..
Then I realized that in the context of poetry there is no definite quantity of any work assigned.
Which means that you have chosen to qualify the criticism rather than legitimize
the context. And I had to smile (which I think was appropriate) at the end at the notion of
deadlines for a work assignment being put off.
Deadlines are just lines for the dead not the living with other more important things to do....lol..

well done...dana
