Moments.

Moments.

A Poem by Keith.
"

the philosophy of love...

"
In the time it takes the final leaf
To tumble
From a tree,
No more to whisper softly
In the secret
dancing sea,
Is the silence of a moment
That I treasure
Most of all,
In the lifetime of together
That it took
the leaf to fall.

In the time it takes the final star
To vanish
From the skies,
No more to glimmer gently
In your softly
Shining eyes,
Is the wonder of forever
And the promise
That we made,
In the timeless golden moments
That it took
The star to fade.

In the time it takes a candles light
To sadly
slip away,
No more to glow upon you
At the ending
Of the day,
Is the moment of the twilight
When I seem
To hear your name,
And the candle burns within me
With a soft
Remembered flame

Its so beautifully written . Every time I have read it I have found something new and deep in the poem. That 'silence for the leaf to fall ' and second stanza I cannot pick a specific line but they depict the combination of love and pain like two sides of a coin. Very Well Done. :D
