to dream perchance

to dream perchance

A Poem by annie lee
"

National Poetry Month Day 2

"
to dream perchance (tanka)

the life that i dreamed,
the life that i never lived,
the road that i feared
to walk: they haunt me now and
i am strangled by regret.

Good to see you around and still going strong. Regret is disappointing and could be disastrous. Live and learn, then move on to bigger, better things.
Happy Holidays.
