crazy ladyA Poem by annie lee
not having an easy time of it: whether it is delayed menopausal madness, high-tech stress or simply the chronic insanity brought on by my good-natured husband who seems to be blithely unaware of how sensationally ill-suited we are. I would like to find a high meadow like the one Julie Andrews twirls around in during her romp in The Sound of Music but instead of pleasant warbling, I would like to scream bloody murder, scream at the top of my lungs until I have no voice left, until I am limp and gasping for air. no one would hear.
