![]() soft morningA Poem by annie lee![]() rengo![]()
this morning the crows and bluejays are noisily fussing in the fog shrouded green thicket behind the gazebo. hummingbirds are delirious with joy as they flit quickly from fuchsia blossom to fuchsia blossom. I can hear a dog bark now and then, one of those “Listen, I'm out here by myself and this is a big world so I’ll bark in my deepest tones so I can feel brave” barks. And then just at this minute, someone's car alarm blurts out raucously into the crystal morning air; I can’t help but giggle. © 2013 annie leeReviews
