Oooh... quite a punch in the gut this poem! Haha! I love how you managed to use senryu to express your emotions. I especially like how you were not afraid to divide the last line with a period. That is brazen and it works excellent in this poem!

I try to at least thank reviewers, but right now I have almost 60 read requests. I also give what I hope are comprehensive reviews, but I am quickly losing the time to spend on my own writing. I do not want to ignore anyone, and I am not attempting to become a celebrated darling of WC. But when somebody has requested a review and see that the poem or chapter or story have 125+ views and 35 reviews, I wonder "so what do they want me for?" -- is it just a statistical competition? I didn't to mean to complain; I do not send out reader requests often because it makes me feel uncomfortable. But half the people I have "friended" do not even accept read requests. I really appreciate your candor and attention. Thanks so much.
If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't know you. I kinda' think that's what this poem is all about and it may be sparse in words but heavy in innuendo. I enjoyed it very much.

I cannot write the explicit adult poems full of pulsating passion that I see others do so well. So this is probably as close as I'll ever get to it. haha. But I like the discipline of these short forms because they can say a lot AND leave a lot to the imagination.
I'm a tough old broad who spent almost 30 years at Ma Bell, and that is high level training for surviving in the jungle. Thank you for your patience.
