uncoordinatedA Poem by annie leerengo -- sometimes all is not in sync.
somewhere, he and she, somehow, they missed connections: she caught the early train; she loved when he did not. she was passionate when he was merely, mildly interested. she was wild when he was restrained. now she’s at the end of the line, gathering her baggage, chalking all this up to experience, liking her new strength, she turns to go, meets his eyes: full of realized love. no . . . oh, no.
