in silence

in silence

A Poem by annie lee

preoccupied with

comfort         or my lack of it

I think now of warmth

inaccessible

so faraway     and serene

yet guilt annoys me,

whispering insults:

I’ve always abhorred those who

suffer publicly

ah yes, i agree..those who dwell on pity...we should suffer in silence if we can....but often we are hardest on ourselves...

they are pouring out of you right now...for sure.
