A Poem by annie lee
"

don't let the wishes, daydreams and fairy dust lead you astray

"

do not consider

this moment.    keep your eyes fixed

on the smudged and vague

horizon.  you cannot take

this moment inside yourself

and hold it for

even a heartbeat.  it is not

for you.  fold your hands

togetherlook away, close

your eyes and think of what you

know to be true:  think

of sharply defined edges

of reality,

the cold, smooth planes, the flat tones

of the landscape of truth. you

must not consider

this moment. you cannot touch

it. surely somewhere

there is refugebut not in

the illusion of this moment

Stay true to ones purpose and remember what is important. I really like this piece; it speaks as a prayer or a mantra, and I love the way you have broken up the sentences. Thank you.
