losing track of the magic

losing track of the magic

A Poem by annie lee

I thought I could make

it all happen. I thought I

could make magic from

my dreams.  I thought I could spin

a cloth of such brilliance that

all would marvel and

be stunned to stand in its light.

I have willed wonder

into existence before.

but not this time, old girl, not now.

Who you calling old;) Certainly a little wonder and magic in this piece. Despite, its statement of frustration, I found it oddly uplifting.

Thank you.
This is heavy. But totally why I'm writing my story now. I feel like if I don't do it now I'll never get the chance to again. This poem is so motivating.

Many thanks to you. I have been very fortunate in my life, and sometimes it felt magic.
You are writing magical writes I can tell you that is a marvel indeed...I can feel that you are little frustrated about losing your magic touch but as long as you have it within you are the queen...:)
