Percy Percy!

Percy Percy!

A Poem by Ron
"

A look a life and love of an elderly couple

"

"Percy, Percy do wake up, your knee digs in my feet!  I'm eighty two, and so are you, we need our beauty sleep.

Percy, Percy have a heart! Your knee 's now in my chest!   How can I sleep until the dawn, my body cruelly pressed?

Percy, Percy rouse yourself your knee is in my back. For goodness sake, roll away, to get my sleep on track.

Percy, Percy take some care, your knee is in my neck.  We've had bad nights these 50 years.  This is the worst one yet.

Percy, Percy wicked sprite, to answer natures call, I'm out of bed, switched on the light. It's not your KNEE at all!

Percy, Percy, darling man, the night is gone and done. Percy, Percy shake yourself, I've put my make-up on!"

Naughty but fun. I like this a lot. It's gentle and sensitive. Love the various techniques especially the rhyming couplets in each line
