PessimistA Poem by 2Real2BTrue
You might as well stay cold and grim, The way that you have always been. When I will laugh at my mistakes, You will do your double-takes. When I allow the words to pass, You will return them with words more crass. When I choose not to complain, You do, but the problems stay the same. When I know that here is right, You still talk of taking flight. When I look just for the good, You will say you wish you could. When I believe that love is true, You know that sex will do. When I try to pray to god, You will just politely nod. When I will let the teardrops flow, You will never let me know. And now, while I am alive and dying, You are dead and truly striving. I wish the world could have met her, Because, of the two of us, she wast better. © 2011 2Real2BTrueAuthor's Note
