the sea of darkness

the sea of darkness

A Poem by Empty Spaces

he speaks but has no voice
he crys but has no tears
hes there, but you cant see him
he is more then what he appears to be
theres a viel over his face
hidden behind the darkness
a slave trying to escape
a voiceless, invisible puppet
to the human race

he writes letters to the woe
and preaches the the weak
but his smile is for show
an empty space is what he claims to be

drowning in the water
hanging from a rope
barly breathing
yet, stories of hope
because, there still light in the stars
that means he can see
and the birds still flutter
happly...
but  the viel wont let go..
dispite his pleads
so he crys everynight
for you to help him
but hes afraid hes to deep
drowning in this dark sea

this is an incredibly accurate description of how i've lived most my life. your writing reminds me that some things are felt by everyone, in some measure or another.
