holding on

holding on

A Poem by Empty Spaces

i love the way

the autum leaves fall

perfectly in place

and how the gentle wind

softly corresses your face

i love the way

optimism sparkles in your eyes

your always in the center of my mind

so when i awoke from my slumber

to find you no longer with me

no longer coverd by sheets beside me

i layed there

slowly dieing

finally realizing

that i need you
