Beautiful Butterfly

 Beautiful butterfly coated in red

you were drawn by my friend but now you are dead

I know you did nothing but sit on my wrist

as I carved nasty words that are better left unsaid

Beautiful butterfly what have I done

you sit there so peacefully among all the cuts

no one sees you coated in red

                                     I'm sorry little butterfly but soon I too will be dead
