The Runaway Meltdown

The Runaway Meltdown

A Poem by 24SevenGirl
"

A Kyrielle. This poem is about a girl who runs away from home to escape the bullying.

"
Where to go? I really don't know.
Though I know I have to stay low
I don't want to be discovered
I want to remain uncovered

Everyone had to tease me
They looked like they were full of glee
God knows I haven't recovered
I want to remain uncovered

Absolutely no one said "No!"
All of them hid in the cupboard
I will not continue to grow
I want to remain uncovered

Here I am, down on my hurt knee
"I am not sorry!!" they muttered
Right now they are drinking ice tea
I want to remain uncovered

This poem is a Kyrielle. It is a great form of poetry and is definitely one of my favorites.

I am perfectly aware of the fact that "Muttered" and "Cupboard" do not rhyme perfectly with uncovered.
