Ain't no one needs to know

Ain't no one needs to know

A Poem by 23rdstar

Ain't no one need to know
How a casual lie cuts to the bone
Or how those thrown words hurt more than ya'll know
Ain't no one needs to know, ain't no one there needs to see
How deeply a falsehood done cut

It ain't real you say
The evidence covered up so not a one sees
Plain as the light of day already been seen
Like you can't remember what telling the truth might be
A small lie still be not the truth
Still breaks faith, still hurts the heart, still ain't reality

That ain't anything that anyone needs to know
Not even you
It's starts out small and ya gotta wonder
Can anything you be saying be trusted?
Yet you are wanting faith when in the small you can't say
What is real

There ain't nothing that you can do now
Ruined it all with a casual lie
And turn around to find that one little thing makes it all false
Gone now any chance of real trust growing
Gone mad, gone hurt, gone bad

But once again
There ain't no one that needs to know...
