I don’t know what to tell you

I could start with day one

When I saw your golden locks

And your deep blue eyes

Hair like the sand

Eyes like the ocean

Or perhaps I could start with our fondest memories

But you know all of this

What is something I could tell you that would make you feel how I do

Make you understand the paintings on your skin when the light hits it

There no exact words

Just the feeling when you glance at me

Then look back down

So shy

So sweet

With all that said

I never told you what I truly want to say

And that is because

I don’t know what to tell you

That could make you feel

As special as you are
