Unheard, are they? - 1

Unheard, are they? - 1

A Poem by 1percentawlove
"

They haunt me the most, The unheard voices in my head. Maybe they could help or maybe not.

"

It was the first voice

And it sang me a song.

Like the moon you are.

But, still in search of your Earth.

Seen in the dark and lost in the light.

You glow and gloom.

After many light years

You found your Earth.

The Earth

You longed for

The Earth

You glowed for

In the dark.

You rounded it

With love.

You hid every fortnight

To make Earth miss you.

You halved yourself

To let Earth fill you.

You weighed much less

To let Earth lift you.

You did all you could

To hold Earth around you

But your pull is weak

And one day

You'll let your Earth slip

To its Earth

And be the moon

Like you were.

The song got over

And the moon was shining

So bright that night
