"Don't promise when you are glad"... I agree with that.
, because when you are glad, your brain is not functioning normally (maybe because of excitement) and you tend to mention words or even make promises that you don't actually mean. Lol
I also believe that one should not make a decision when he is sad, because sadness may push him to make an unsound decision that he will regret afterwards.

I am confused of "take care of your enemy" but I think you have your own reason for that.
