Nightmare

Rain falls from the sky

The whole world just stands by

A little girl stands at the corner

With no one there to care for her

Sadness flashes across her face

Running from that vile place

Taking her blood, sweat, and tears

Bringing out all her fears

She is still standing there

Living in her nightmare

Please tell me if you find the rhyming pattern odd. Just trying out some new ideas with this.
