The whole gift giving is great for the young ones as you watch their faces light up but we do need to remember why we celebrate this holiday while enjoying the festivities and family....
A babe in the manger
His life in constant danger
He came to seek and save the lost
His glory veiled, the cross His cost
Can't believe I missed this beautiful poem, your words are utterly sincere, their meaning flying into the Heavens where they belong. This is Christmas.
I believe I have stated in my other review that I am a person who believes in a higher power, but doesn't affiliate with any known religions. As such I want to write this review from a neutral perspective. This poem is very well written, and you demonstrate your ability to create imagery for your reader through your well written words. The subject of your poem is easy to follow, and I did enjoy reading this poem. The structure is perfect, and flows very smoothly.
- oh what a beautiful song to the Lord!!! - so heartfelt and soulful - this is the true spirit of Christmas - glowing in abundant light and joy - and the celebration of redemption - right here in your words - absolutely delightful!! -

This is a beautiful, refreshing song of praise that lifts the heart and mind. We too often forget the sacred simplicity of Jesus' birth, and the joy and peace His life brings still. Thank you for sharing your words with all of us.
A lovely Christmas poem focused on the true reason for the season... :) The meaning is so often lost in the commercial side of how people celebrate. It is easy for some to get so caught up in the presents, decorations etc and forget the true meaning of Christmas. This poem is a beautiful 'reminder'....
