The Truth is CallingA Poem by 1DisawsumThe darkness scares me With its mystery and silence. Monsters are hidden, Humans, animals, plants. The light blinds me With its glaring, probing eyes. The hatred burns me, Shame fills my body up. Falling in love scares me too, Betrayal is worse, Having faith in people, Promises break. The crack in the lies, Trapped. The truth meets light, Destroyed. The sunshine, Turns to darkness. Clouds are brewing, A storm is approaching. Lightning splits, All of a sudden, We're on separate sides. Thunder is rolling, Cracking like a whip, The hate is brewing, Sadness, creeping in. The silence scares me
Because it tells the truth, The loudness scares me, The truth isn't far now. © 2014 1Disawsum |
