Lonely lurks in the shadows,

Coming into people's lives

Ruins people, that it strives.

Lonely lurks in the shadows,

Waiting to pounce 

On an unsuspecting victim.

Lonely lurks in the shadows,

JUMPS!

I've ruined you forever.

Lonely lurks in the shadows,

Excited for its next prey,

Waiting to see the outcome.

Lonely lurks in the shadows,

Lonely is the reason of 

So many deaths and homocides.

Lonely lurks in the shadows,

Hating everyone but 

Praising itself.

Lonely lurks in the shadows,

Who will be next?

Will it be YOU?

Lonely lurks in the shadows,

Don't be alone, 

Don't be a victim.

Lonely lurks in the shadows,

Waiting to grasp you by the full,

And tear you into pieces.

Lonely lurks in the shadows,

A strong vice-like grip,

The victim, never to survive.

Wrenching loneliness always on the edge of light, waiting to drag us back into it's embrace… You've captured the state of trying to hold on, to hold out for love; but, every day that passes without it, loneliness lurks to overwhelm us.
