You Thought Wrong

On her About Me, she wrote 'I appreciate all comments, very negative and very positive.' You only appreciate positive. Your writing is nowhere NEAR perfect, neither is eveyrone else's.

You think you're so good,

That you can do anything.

You think you're too amazing,

To have to talk to me.

I help you, I don't

'Abuse the privilege' of 

Being able to help you.

Nobody does.

But if you say that,

Then maybe you do.

Just to state a clear fact,

Nobody 'abuses the privilege'

You post your stories where everybody

In the world can see them.

You ALLOW comments for your stories,

When clearly, you can DISABLE them.

But when somebody writes a comment,

One you don't want to hear,

You immediately use your overused line,

Do not 'abuse the privilege'

But if you want to know the cold, hard truth,

You are the one who needs to get out of there,

Get away from the writing site you have been using,

And only come back, when you have thought things through.

Only come back, when you have understood

That people comment negative things on your work,

Purely for your sake to help yourself,

Not to crticise every little mistake you have.

We only comment on your work,

Because we think you have some potential,

Otherwise, why would we comment,

On a pathetic piece of work?

Work that deserves no attention whatsoever?

We only comment to help you

Become stronger as a writer,  to become

Stronger as a person in this world.

But if you don't want that, you can leave.

But you have no right to block a person,

From seeing your work,

Purely because of a subjective point of view.

You do not know why we wrote,

The negative comments that we wrote,

Because you never cared to ask.

If you want to block a person,

Just know that you have lost a person.

Lost a person who wants to read your work,

And help you improve your own writing.

I know that I will never be able to change,

What you feel. But I can make you see the facts.

You think that you can block a person,

Purely from one comment you took wrong.

You think that you have done the right thing,

In blocking a person who gave you one negative comment.

But you thought wrong. You have lost a valuable 

Reader, one who cares about how far you go,

And one who takes the time, to be able to read,

Your writing and commenting on it. 

Good luck in finding some more people,

Who are caring enough to read your poetry and writings.

Author's Note

This was a person who blocked me, just from commenting on her grammar issues with all of her work. But she misunderstood the comment, and dragged it to a whole new level. I corrected her (yet again), and she also took it the wrong way, and blocked me. Whether she's on this writing site or not, and I have many I go on still to this day, I will keep it private.
