Hypocrites

We're all hypocrites, 

Always lying to ourselves.

"Never lie to yourselves"

Isn't that we all say to ourselves,

At least once in our lifetime?

But why do we say we're not?
"Never lie to yourselves"

But isn't that what we all do?

We all lie to ourselves, in fear of

What, nobody knows. Except you.

Nobody is free from the label

"Hypocrite"

We all are hypocrites, and if you 

Ever disagree, take a deep breath,

And think back to a time,

Where you told yourself,

Something along the lines of

"Never lie to yourselves"

Then think of a time,

When you were in pure denial.

Denial is a way of lying,

Of blocking out what you don't want,

And only letting in what you do.

Denial is the easiest problem,

Then we all become hypocrites.
