Too Many Times

Too Many Times

A Poem by 1Disawsum
"

This speaks for itself, I think!

"
The pain before her eyes,
As she says goodbye,
Is evident, and a sign,
That she is uncertain.

So I say, stay one night,
And tomorrow, we'll see,
But she is convinced,
That today will be her final day.

I am torn, between hugging her,
Or admonishing her for thinking
Something so evil, yet true.
This is her, in real life settings.

She told me not to worry,
That everything will be all right.
But don't you see,
I've heard that phrase, too many times?

Author's Note

1Disawsum
I need someone to be there,
To tell me it'll be all right.
Someone who knows how much
It all still hurts. It's been 5 years,
But the shock of it, never left me.
It never left, unlike her. She left,
With no soul left on this Earth.

About
I'm sitting here behind a screen, Writing about my past like I don't care. Like it's in the past, And I'll never go back there again. But the truth of the matter right now, Is that every secon.. more..
