True Love

True Love

A Poem by 1 Deep

Been through the forest,
Asked every tree where she hid.
Conquered each mountain top
Seeking her face at the ridge.
Flew to the stars;
Inquired of her whereabouts.
Interrogated the moon,
Hoping to flush her out.
Went to the sea;
Deepest part I could find.
Submerged my soul,
And searched it for miles at a time.
Yet, this phantomly figure,
Legend, folklore;
Eternally eluded sight
'Till I searched no more.

Well written, rhythmical - I loved it ❤ (Albeit sad still)

thanks for the honest comment
I like very much the idea behind this poem and it is well executed. A pleasant trip to find the whereabouts of elusive love.

I love the beginning, it starts out super strong and I think the last line is very strong as well, but I think you could elaborate just a tad bit more on how she/true love itself is folklore, etc. just my thoughts! loved it otherwise.
