Waiting

This is simply how I feel, based on what my life is like right now & what I'm going through.

I'm unable to go back,
but still not yet ready,
to move forward with my life.
I feel stuck, trapped, poised.
forced to clean up loose ends,
before I can continue on,
while waiting for time to pass.
to set me free, to let me fly.
I want to excape, to flee,
from these feeling which,
will not allow me to go on.
waiting for time to heal,
this wounded heart of mine,
waiting for my life to restart.
anticipation & anxiety grows.
as my time draws nearer.
my courage faltering,
as I start to think about,
the future that's in store for me.
I try to be strong, but it's not easy.
however, I know that,
when the time arrives,
I will manage to do anything,
& everything that I need to do.

Nearer to what ? Delivery ?
You leave us dangling. Perhaps you mean to
plant curiostiy and suspicion , if you did plan
this it works amazingly well
